What you can expect:

Your animal is in good hands at Dead On Taxidermy. We are here to brainstorm what your mount will look like and preserve the memories you make with every hunt. 

 

When you bring in your animal, a 50% deposit is required before we send it to the tannery. We accept cash, check, and credit cards for your convenience. Any applicable packing and shipping charges will be confirmed upon completion.

 

Quality taxidermy takes time. Here’s what to expect:

• Shoulder & Full Mounts: 12–18 months

• European Mounts: ~5 months

• Tanned Capes & Hides: 5–9 months (professionally garment tanned)

Once your mount is finished and you have been contacted, you will have 30 days to pick up your mount or make arrangements for shipping. If we do not hear from you, all mounts are subject to a $5/day storage fee. After 60 days, the mount may be resold or disposed of without a refund of your deposit.

Update:

Starting April 1, 2025, invoices amounting to $1,000 or more will incur a 3% credit card transaction fee.

To avoid this additional charge, we encourage you to consider alternative payment methods such as debit card, cash, or check. This change is being implemented to help offset the costs associated with credit card processing fees.
